Statement by the Witan Chief – 30th May 2017.
Brothers and Sisters of the Faedertellus.
It has now been four months since the rebirth of the Faedertellus. During this time between the courageous people of this nation and the leadership of the Provisional Witan, we have forged a new path as we seek to regain our former glory.
The time has now come for us to secure a formal mandate as our armed forces continue to expand our reach. As such I am announcing a Witan general election to be held on the 9th June 2017. The Provisional Witan shall pass a bill within the next couple of days reaffirming the electoral rules and regulations. Whilst political parties will be required to register before the 2nd June 2017.
We believe that after months of fierce fighting against insurgents and the strength shown by those who have reinvigorated our economy. The people of this nation have the right to once again utilise their right to democratically elect their government.
