Re-Opening of Several Commercial Airship Stations.
Due to the petrol crisis that our nation has faced mainly due to the evacuation. It has been decided after a conference between advisers and the Minister of Interior Affairs that one way of lessening the strain on petrol is the reintroduction of a number of Airships that can be used in the transportation of citizens throughout the Mainland and our Colonies. These can be used to efficiently transport people in a safe and desirable way. It will also help to bring some more stimulus into the economy by providing room for private firms to use the stations and routes that have been published by the ministry of interior.
Below is a basic route map that has been established by the Ministry of Interior. The routes are currently limited to two separate systems with one that covers the Taylor Bay region whilst the other consists of the New Britannian Territories. As of yet a set of Government owned Airships under the newly established Dept. of Airship Aviation have been able to commence flights between major cities in the areas using a series of existing Airship stations and smaller temporary motorised stations. However it is hoped that the Ministry of Interior Affairs will be able to purchase or produce a number of Airships that can then be leased or sold on to civilian contractors. As of yet the DoAA has around 4 Hild-Class Airships which are veterans of the Moorland Uprisings of 1962 when standard planes and vehicles were unable to transport troops through the boggy and tough terrain. However these 4 Airships have been converted to civilian use since they were found in an old hanger in Nova English Korea.
