Howdy! I haven't heard too much from you for a while so I thought I'd touch base. I hate it when foreign affairs consists of signing a treaty and then doing nothing ever again; even though we never quite got around to a treaty, I still consider you guys allies, so I'm dropping in. Gralus is on the up at the moment. The extended winter lull (for us southern hemisphere guys; read "summer" if you're not) left us a few months with really low posting by Gralan standards (ie below 20 ppd) and down to four or five citizens around. Some more people have started coming back (including our Emperor, always helpful), though, and my setting up a secret citizen subforum to discuss reform got some good thinking going, so we look to be on the up with activity and stuff. VBNC has released some new product lines; and we're sending a team to deal with the remains of the Imperial Mercenary Empire who stole some stuff off us in the last war. A major updating of our wiki is currently planned as my next project, so you can look forward to that being not too out of date in the next couple months. We've also expressed support for our good friends over in Shireroth, who were going a little tough for a while there but seem to be pulling through. How's Nova England going? Get the economy working or going to come and join us in the SCUE? Having fun invading the Imperial Mercenary Empire?

Hey Good to see you again Well as of yet due to what seems to be a long line of Batavian Red Tape, we have only been able to land Marines in the former Britannian Capital of Willow. Although at the moment Alfred is starting his own religious crusade to the city in order to use it now as Nova England's principal religious city. Military Forces are also striving to capture a strip of coastline that will finally connect New Sussex to Port Neil [See Op.Nearuweg]. In terms of activity we have actually had a dramatic rise in terms of PPD and general activity. With the return of Archbishop Dunholm we've been able to start commencing on a few new cultural projects. Whilst it seems my own productivity has increased somewhat allowing me to finish a lot of things that I had only really started.... In terms of economics we're currently using a slightly similar system to Ashkenatza although still unofficially. But....We have finally produced a decent set of bank notes that all Nova English people can use and hell even a few foreigners . Other than that we've managed to keep our main broadsheet paper 'The Sword & Cross' running every month for a wee while now and we now even have our own version of 'The Sun' known as the 'Bleak Week' gracing our new stands. Anyhow that reminds me you needed my Gmail account details for MITO didn't you?

Those bank notes are very nice indeed. I hope the Batavian stuff works out in a reasonably exciting manner. Since I first posted our one, it hasn't really gone much further yet ... Re MITO: if you're interested in using it, then yes, send me your gmail address. But I'm really not sure there's much international interest in it at the moment, beyond my nations and Natopia. Some time I'll get around to hosting a big international economics conference and discussing trade among other things; but when I asked Gralans where to put my limited time, they voted Wiki, so that's my immediate focus.

RE: MITO. Well to be honest I'm not to bothered if there aren't many other nations using it at the moment tbh. Its more for the role-play factor and infact I'm interested in it influencing future Nova English actions in wars in the future...Because well lets be honest unless your going to take over you don't want to knee-cap the petrol attendant. But yeah a international economics conference would be pretty interesting! I look forward to seeing it in the future....Although just shout if you need any help

Ah, I wondered if it might be you. How are things going these days? Last time I heard from you you were off to join the ministry.

Alas that plan didnt go very well (the C of E are getting rid of paid clergy mostly) so now im at uni doing politics, i did deliberately choose a C of E uni with easy access to a Norman cathedral though needless to say . Yourself?

A pity to hear that the ministry plans didn't work out; though I'm sure that if you let him, God will continue to use you how he wants.
Myself, I'm nearing the end of third year; doing a dual degree in Economics and Arts (Political Science and Philosophy) - a fascinating word-number mix. Also running the youth at church, though I'm passing that ministry on next year in order to do more stuff with my christian group at uni.
