New Sussex is the primary region of Nova England. Historically it is the birthplace of our great nation and the region which shaped the young King John I into the unifier of the shattered groups of Brittanic tribes. The region boasts the capital of the nation as well as the vast Hash fields of the Warring Islands. For many of the Novum Engleaod it represents the very heart of our great fatherland.

The local economy of the region is primary based on a mixture of Primary and Secondary Industry with most of the nations Hash crops grown in the region as well as the flight of major industries from Heartpool following the evacuations.

Features:
- New Sussex is home to West Grinstead and hence West Grinstead Castle which houses the head of all power within the state King Josephus I.
- The Great Shield wall also known as the Grinstead wall was built during the evacuations of much of the Fatherland. It features large concrete slabs that are around 8m high and intersected by guard towers and patrolled by various elements of the armed forces.
- The vast rolling hills of the New Sussex countryside have often played home many different works of classical and modern literature ranging from 'Lucius' Plight' to more modern works such as 'Sun Down Over Hacton'
