Reorganisation of the Nova English Armed Forces Bill.
The purpose of this Bill is to reorganise the existing Militias within the National Redoubt Region into a unified and restructured force. Existing People’s Militia units will either be reintegrated into the Armed Forces or remain as Auxiliary units, with new recruits being drawn from the Diaspora. In addition to this, new standards of equipment will be implemented to ensure clarity between units and create a stronger force. These will be either produced by firms within the Faedertellus, taken from stockpiles within the National Redoubt Region or exported from abroad. The Reformed Nova English Armed Forces will operate under the Ministry of Defence with the King remaining as the Commander in Chief.
Structure of the Reformed Nova English Armed Forces will be as follows;
Nova English Armed Forces HQ – Staff
Royal Army;
National Redoubt Garrison
Nova English Light Infantry
Spittle’s Scouts
Royal Commandos
Redoubt Armoured Car Regiment
Nova English Artillery Regiment
Steðeheard Regiment
Army Reserves
Nova English Royal Air Force;
1st Squadron
2nd Squadron
3rd Squadron
4th Squadron (Ground Defence)
5th Squadron (COIN)
NERAF Reserves
Further to the above a full breakdown of Battalion/Brigade compositions will be release by the Ministry of Defence.

Standardisation of Equipment;
Following the implementation of the Bill the Ministry of Defence will enact a programme of standardisation of equipment and uniforms. These will include the standardisation of ammunition, uniforms, weapon systems and vehicles.
The programmes will be undertaken as detailed below:
MODSP01 – Standardisation of Small Arms and Ammunition.
MODSP02 – Standardisation of Combat and Support Vehicles.
MODSP03 – Standardisation of Combat Uniforms and Equipment.
Where possible the Ministry of Defence will source the above from existing Supply Caches, Local production or imported from abroad. However the overarching aim is to provide the majority of equipment and arms from indigenous sources, to reduce the risk of supply lines impacting on the capability of the Nova English Armed Forces.
Members of the Witan are invited to vote for the above Bill - As set out within the 'Rule of Law', there are five days for your vote to be cast. (Voting Ends - 09/03/17)
