Project Divine Rain
12.09.2010 Project Divine Rain is a joint Nova English-Normarkan project that aims to establish a military defence system in Orbit around Micras. This system will be designed by a joint team made up of scientists and technicians from NEW, NESA and the Normarkan Firm Seier A&M. Nearly all details as of yet for the project have been deemed as classified information. However NESA has been permitted to release various declassified documents relating to Divine Rain as it is passed through the scrutiny of the SOE and senior members of the MOD. As such all declassified information shall now be made available below as and when it is passed through these channels.

Gralus looks with interest to see what information will be released and would be strongly interested in hearing more than would be said to the public; if our alliance with Normark and Nova England is deemed strong enough to do so.

[Important] Due to delays caused by foreign workers that had been constructing certain parts of the system by striking. The project has been put on a brief hold whilst members of the National Police Force allow for Rapid Response Teams to quell the situation at the construction site on the Virgin Islands. NESA will advise when production recompenses!

[IMPORTANT] 04.11.12 Construction on Project Divine Rain is to now recommence following the swift action from our loyal National Police Forces. Foreign Workers on the site were quickly deported and replaced by Nova English and Britannian workers whom were brought in from the Britannic Sandwich Islands. We estimate that the project may see its completion in around another three months or possibly earlier. Whilst following this will be a series of tests of the weapon system and then its integration into both the Nova English and Normarkan Military.

Cheers! Once I've re-downloaded paint.net etc... I'll be able to start posting a few design ideas also I think we should actually sort out a treaty regarding the project with Normark pretty soon Otherwise we will end up with a weapon that no one can agree on a target or fair use....

Interesting as always, Sire, slightly controversial second sentence from a Church perspective though

Gralus would be very interested to know how raining semi-radioactive substances on people is in accord with all existing Weapons Conventions. We know there are no international Human Rights convention so you have no problems there.
