Operation Nearuweg The aim of Operation Nearuweg [Narrow Path] is the creation of a coastal strip that will allow us land transportation routes between Port Neil and New Sussex. Using this strip the MOIA will begin the construction of a major road built directly to connect Port Neil with West Grinstead as well as a rail route that will allow the transportation of goods. This is an important landmark step in the reconquest of the Faedertellus and shall be our staging point for future reclamation campaigns. The opening stages of this operation will use elements of the Aquila legion to spearhead and assault into any hostile held bases from the East. Whilst Peoples Militia and a Battalion of Britannian Guard will attack from the West in the same fashion as the Aquila legion. Meanwhile a small navy task force of Destroyers and Landing Platform Docks will provide any needed fire support and also will help to start the construction process! A Diagram Showing Nearuweg. The Following is a Time Scale for the Operation.

Well we look pretty damm small to be fair Although as long as we can get a decent level of activity going I hope that the MOD would have been able to push forward and take over most of the evacuated territories by Christmas!

Just out of interest will the Nearuweg region become part of the New Sussex Provincia or listed as East Moorland?
Otherwise I think this is a truly great idea! I can't wait to see the region as it develops!

Erm not quite sure really I got a feeling it is between the two however at the moment it will remain a military district. At least until the region has been fully developed and then I believe it will then be passed back into civilian control.

Operation Nearuweg: Military Report. 27.08.10.Units from the Aquila Legion move into the wreckage of several evacuated towns. Intense resistance lead to the deployment of a Royal Nova English Airforce Bomber which released several Fuel-Air Payloads upon hostile strongholds in the towns of 'Nutmeg's Mane' and 'St Tristan's'. The Aquila Legion was then able to advance to within around 30 miles from the mid-way point before setting up a simple base camp. Meanwhile the New Britannian Guard units were deployed from Port Neil and travelled up through the Nearuweg region with absolute ease. In fact they were able to smash through much heavier resistance with little to no air support. Their very high moral is said to be linked to news of the up coming crusade to the home islands as elements of the New Britannian Guard will be offered the opportunity to take part if they can capture the Nearuweg region within the current time constraints. However just like the Aquila legion they were forced to halt around 30 miles from the mid-point after meeting very heavy resistance from a large faction controlled by a local warlord. 28.08.10.A joint strike by both the Aquila Legion and the New Britannian Guard allowed Nova English Forces to successfully out flank the Warlord's forces. As the Nova English forces fought threw the large town towards the barricaded police station where the headquarters of the hostiles was located. A team of SOE agents were able to HALO jump into the area and infiltrate the HQ before setting off a small Nerve Gas based explosive which has been reported to have wiped out all the those inside the building. Following this Nova English Forces were able to perform a mop up of the large town before rebuilding defences. Elements from the Nova English Navy and Airforce were then able to drop supplies and further re-enforcements to begin the establishment of Fort Nearuweg. Whilst further equipment has started to be transported across the fragile roads that currently exist. Larger road building and train track machinery are to start their journeys from their respective start points in New Sussex. 29.08.10.Cessation of all offensive military operations. Constructions begins on Fort Nearuweg, following the classical Marcus Rily Design. No reported resistance since the local warlord was apprehended following the collapse of his staff unit. He had been captured during street fighting but his identity wasn't known until a interrogation on a fellow militia man revealed his true identity. The Warlord known as Victor Blaec has now been transported the 'Molay Prison' on the Hisper Islet outside West Grinstead where he will face execution by the King's Sword.
